Milford Police: Woman Hit in the Head, Suspect Steals Her Pocketbook
Police are asking the public for assistance in solving this violent robbery that occurred late Friday on the Post Road.

The Milford Police Department is currently investigating a violent robbery that occurred Friday at approximately 11:30 p.m. on the Boston Post Road near Milford Crossing Shopping Plaza, 1376 Boston Post Road.
Investigation revealed that an adult female victim was walking on the Boston Post Road to the bus stop in the vicinity of the shopping plaza when she was approached by a male suspect, police said.
The suspect struck the victim in the head with an object and forcibly took her pocketbook, police said.

The suspect was last seen running eastbound on the Boston Post Road, last seen behind Subway located at 1454 Boston Post Road, police said.
The suspect is described as a white male, approximately 5’8” in height, thin to medium build, wearing a “Champion” brand black hooded sweatshirt, dark pants and shoes. He was wearing a glove on one of his hands.
