Milford Prevention Council Looking For Coalition Members
Get involved! Put your passion for Milford to work for a good cause!

Milford Prevention Council is recruiting new coalition members to help guide the organization’s policies and programs. Our mission is to reduce underage drinking and substance use through prevention education, the support of law enforcement, and the strengthening of our community collaboration.
Milford Prevention Council is a Local Prevention Council (LPC) whose goal is to increase public awareness of Alcohol, Tobacco and Other Drug (ATOD) prevention and to develop and implement local prevention activities, with a primary focus on youth. We also address social-emotional health, recognizing the strong relationship between substance misuse and mental health disorders.
LPCs are coalitions consisting of stakeholders from 12 identified sectors.
