January News at the Library!

The Milford Public Library rings in the New Year with engaging programs and events for adults, young adults and children! Please check out our exciting January newsletter for all the details!

For Adults: 3 Book Discussion Groups, 2 Movie Matinees and A Sun Salutation Yoga Program. We also we feature a community reflection in honor of Martin Luther King Jr. as well as programs about taxes and retirement, tips for managing weight, and communicating solutions for the hearing impaired, plus much more!

Young Adults can enjoy a movie and hot cocoa bar, learn more about their astrological signs, create 2025 vision boards, and kids in grades 6-8 with their caregivers can attend a live webinar called Motivating Your Unmotivated Student.

Winter Storytime Sessions continue for children on Tuesdays and Thursdays along with a Pokemon Meet-Up, Winter Process Art, Lego Building Program, Music Pop-Up, an Evening Family Storytime, and Music Together Singalong, and a Dog Man Edition of Fans of Fiction!

Children, students, and families may join us for a Family Take-Apart Night. Kids of all ages can discover how everyday technology works by taking apart old or broken gadgets!

Sit back and enjoy the epic movies, Elvis and Gladiator during the January Tuesday Movie Matinees and enjoy engaging online author talks with TJ Klune, Amanda Montell, and Seth Fishman.

As always, thank you to the Friends of Milford Library for funding all our programs!

The library will close at 1 pm on Tuesday, December 24 and will be closed on Christmas Day, Wednesday, December 25. The library will close at 2 pm on Tuesday, December 31 and will be closed for New Years’ Day, Wednesday, January 1, 2025.
