Milford Public Schools Announces Status of School Day Thursday
BREAKING: The region is expected to be hit by a storm that could bring up to a foot of snow Thursday morning.
MILFORD, CT — And the word just came down from the Superintendent of School's office that all Milford Public Schools will in fact be closed on Thursday, Feb. 9.
A snowstorm that could drop 12 inches or more of snow on the city is responsible for the school cancellation. The snow begins after 4 a.m. and the heaviest snow falls between 8 a.m. and 2 p.m. Snowfall rates of 1-2 inches per hour are expected for several hours Thursday. The city has declared a snow emergency already.
