Milford Rec Offers Dog Waste Bag Dispensers

The following is from a press release by the Milford Recreation Department.

Last month, , many commenters discussed the dog waste left behind by owners.

Now, the Milford Recreation Department has announced that dog owners who license their dog during the month of June can stop by the Recreation Department and receive one (1) free Dog Waste Bag Dispenser, while supplies last.  Proof of licensing is required.

These refillable dispensers come with 20 biodegradable disposable bags and a carabiner to attach to a dog's collar or leash.  This lightweight bag dispenser is a great way to take care of the environment by picking up your dog's waste during walks.

Dog owners are reminded that any dog more than 6 months of age is required to have a current rabies vaccination and to be licensed by June 30th of each year.

Dog Licenses can be obtained in the beginning June 1st between the hours of 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. Monday through Friday.
