Milford Recreation Announces Registration for 2016-17 Youth Basketball Season

The Milford Recreation Department announces registration for the 2016-17 Youth Basketball Season has begun.

The teams and coaches that participated together last season will remain together, as they always have, but everyone will still need to register.

New individual players or players looking to change teams will be able to register for the league and will be placed on teams by the player evaluation draft. Those interested in coaching should also register.

Teams will practice once a week and play games once a week on week nights in the Milford Recreation Department's League. Teams will also be eligible participate in the Milford Knights Pre-Season Tournament and the CT HOOPFEST Tournament.

Player evaluation for new players and those looking to change teams will be held at the Parsons Complex Gymnasium on Wednesday, September 28 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Practices will begin the week of October 10 and games are scheduled to begin the week of November 28.

The registration fee is $77.50 per child and the deadline to register is Sunday, September 25.

Registration for the Milford Recreation Department's popular Developmental Basketball Program (Boys & Girls grades 3 & 4) will begin on Monday, September 12.
