Milford Resident to Marry on 86th Floor of Empire State Building: Report

The couple will be one of 14 to be wed atop the famous skyscraper on Valentine's Day.

MILFORD, CT — A local couple will be tying the knot atop the Empire State Building Wednesday, reports the Monroe Courier.

Eric LeStrange, a former Monroe resident who lives in Shelton, will be wed to Catherine Fiehn Malat of Milford. The two are re-uniting after dating in the early 80s before marrying other people and have known each other for 32 years.

The report further indicates the two had dated in their 20s when studying at Sacred Heart University. Both were working on the school newspaper at the time.
