Maggie, and her co-founder Kylee McGrane, spoke to the student body about how “we turned our passion for serving people into something we love and about empowering women and raising each other up to be the best that we all can be.”

When asked about The Princess Project Maggie shared, “All of our girls are volunteers. We work as a larger organization, with chapters at different colleges and universities. Right now our first and only chapter is working out of my college—The College of Mount Saint Vincent—but we have interest from over 30 colleges and universities to bring the program to their schools, hopefully by the end of this year. The mission of our organization is …’To restore the magic of believing at a time when children need to “just be a kids”, and remind them to be brave, strong, and fearless.’ More information, photos, and videos can be found on our website at www.theprincessprojectny.org.”

Currently a college junior, Maggie is studying English and Secondary/Special Education at CMSV. Her love of working with children and the color pink has inspired her work behind The Princess Project and she credits her family and her time at Sacred Heart for her passion and service to others. To support Maggie’s non-profit, Sacred Heart students donated $2.00 to dress as princesses and super heroes with all funds benefitting The Princess Project.
