Milford Robbery Arrest Made After Shoprite Shoplifting: PD
The man stole items from the store and got into a fight on the way out, police said.
MILFORD, CT — A Milford man was charged with robbery after shoplifting from Shoprite, according to police.
Jayson Rotz, 28, turned himself in on an active warrant for the July 22 incident. Rotz stole more than $65 worth of goods and got into a fight with a loss prevention employee who tried to apprehend him, police said.
He was charged with third-degree robbery, sixth-degree larceny and second-degree breach of peace.
