"The goal of Test-Mask-Go gives us the ability to maximize the amount of time our students and staff remain in school and minimize the amount of time individuals need to stay out of school," Superintendent Anna Cutaia said in a letter to the school community. "Just as we did before the pandemic, students and staff who were ill have always been asked to remain home until they felt well enough to return."
School community members who are experiencing mild Covid-19 symptoms can go to school with several caveats. They should test at home for Covid-19 each day they have symptoms, and wear a well-fitting mask while at school. They should also take one final test on the morning their symptoms fully resolve. Those who test positive should begin to follow Covid-19 isolation protocols.

School community members who have a fever should not attend school whether they have Covid-19 or not. They should stay home until they are fever-free for 24 hours without the use of medication and feel well enough to attend school.
Positive test results should be reported to the school nurse and the individual should isolate at home for at least five days. They can attend school on day six, but should wear a well-fitting mask through day 10.
Individuals who don't have Covid-19 symptoms, but live with someone who has tested positive in the past two weeks can attend in-person, but should wear a mask for 10 days from last exposure.
