Milford Schools Extend Solar Plans: Report
Over time, the project is expected to reduce the district's energy costs by millions of dollars.

MILFORD, CT — Plans to install solar energy panels at five Milford schools received approval this month from the Planning and Zoning Commission, reports the Milford Mirror.
Under the plan, panels will be installed at The Academy, Calf Pen Meadow, Harborside Middle, Orchard Hills and Pumpkin Delight schools.
Eventually, all Milford schools will receive solar panels, which are expected to reduce energy costs by more than $3 million over 20 years, according to officials.
