Milford Singer/Songwriter Wins Album of The Year Award

Local Singer/Songwriter Tom D’Ademo has been awarded Alternative Album of the Year by the International Music and Entertainment Association (IMEA) for his album, “In the Moment.”

The IMEA held an award ceremony in Marietta, Georgia at The Marietta Performing Arts Center, on October 24, 2015.

“The mission of the International Music and Entertainment Association’s IMEA Awards is to honor and recognize the best in independent music, theatre, and live entertainment. The IMEA Awards, presented annually, highlight excellence in the performing arts and entertainment industries.

“Winning this award solidifies that what we are doing is being recognized in the industry and is a huge honor.” Tom said, “I could not have done it without the support of my family, friends, and fans. Everyone involved in this album were amazing and I cannot thank them enough for all their work, dedication and support.”

The album was recorded by Vic Steffens, at Horizon Music Group studios in West Haven, who co-produced it with managers Ken D’Ademo and Laura Russo.

Musicians on the album include Stephen White of Fairfield, Pete Deleo of Milford, and brother, Dan D’Ademo of Winchester, MA.

Tom who has been writing, and performing, as Me, Like Many going on 4 years said, “The album has given us the opportunity to be invited to play at many outstanding venues and music fests.”

Tom is about to record his next album, and has started a crowdfunding campaign, to be part of this project visit his Indiegogo crowdfunding site at www.igg.me/at/melikemany.
