Milford State Rep. Outlines Legislative Goals

State Rep. Kathy Kennedy (R-Milford) said affordability and security are at the top of her list of goals for the legislative session.

MILFORD, CT — State Rep. Kathy Kennedy (R-Milford) is outlining her legislative goals as the 2024 session begins.

“I am grateful to continue representing the hardworking residents of Milford and Orange,” Kennedy said in a statement. “As always, my legislative goals are rooted in proposing bills that offer affordable solutions, stand with our law enforcement officers, and restore the quality of life in our district and statewide.”

Kennedy joined her House Republican colleagues as they unveiled their 2024 legislative proposals titled “Security & Service.” Their plan outlines a comprehensive approach to maintain the state’s fiscal stability while making Connecticut a more affordable place to live, according to a statement.

Kennedy added, “During a shorter session, we will primarily deal with bills that fall within last year’s state budget agreement. We can also expect to address issues including additional education funding to crime, as well as the governor’s proposed electric vehicle mandate.”
