Beth-El Center homeless shelter and soup kitchen in Milford received a $37,030 donation from the proceeds of the 9th Annual Milford Trick or Trot 5K Run/Walk fundraiser held virtually on October 31- November 2, 2020. On December 24, 2020, event organizers and sponsors Harlow, Adams & Friedman, P.C. and Sikorsky Credit Union presented the donation to the Center’s Executive Director Jenn Paradis.

“As we expand our services to respond to the community’s needs due to COVID-19, we’re so appreciated of this overwhelming support as shown by the amazing participation in the Trick or Trot event,” says Paradis. “We’re very grateful to Sikorsky Credit Union and Harlow, Adams and Friedman P.C and all those who sponsored, donated and ran or walked in the Trick or Trot to ensure that we can continue to meet the needs of those in our community who are struggling."

The donation from this year’s Trick or Trot event marks the largest gift given in the event’s history and almost 20% more funds raised than last year.
