Milford Wedding Venue To Hold Grand Opening

MILFORD, CT — Wedding venue Tyde at Walnut Beach will hold a grand opening next month. The event will be April 5, at 5 p.m. at the 72 Broadway venue in Milford.

"Situated along the picturesque coast of Long Island Sound, Tyde at Walnut Beach boasts a stunning ballroom with panoramic views of Charles Island and the Long Island Sound," according to a Chamber of Commerce press release. "Guests can revel in the enchanting ambiance while enjoying cocktails in the outdoor courtyard or even dipping their toes in the sand."

This grand opening celebration "promises an unforgettable experience, with delectable food, refreshing drinks, and the chance to explore the beautiful new wedding venue."

The ribbon-cutting ceremony with Mayor Anthony Giannattasio will be followed by a reception.

The wedding venue was built on the former Costa Azzurra restaurant site on Broadway. The property was bought by the Landino family, which also operates Cascade Fine Catering in Hamden.

The venue has a maximum capacity of 250.
