Milford Woman, 73, Killed in Motor Vehicle Accident
She apparently drove off the side of the road and struck a tree.
The Milford Police Department is currently investigating a motor vehicle accident involving a fatality that occurred on September 11 at approximately 11:40 am.
A preliminary investigation revealed that a vehicle was traveling Eastbound on New Haven Avenue approaching the intersection of Settlers Ridge Road when it traveled off the roadway and struck a tree, police said.
The operator of the vehicle, Judith Pierce, 73 of Seabreeze Avenue in Milford, was pronounced deceased during the investigation. The vehicle she was operating was a 2009 Nissan Versa color blue.
