Milford Woman Stole $7K From Home's Safes, Police Say
A woman was arrested recently on allegations that she burglarized a home last month, police said.
MILFORD, CT -- A Milford woman is accused of stealing $7,700 from multiple safes inside a home, according to police.
Police said they made contact with Vanessa Santos, 37, "during a welfare check at the request of hospital staff" and found that there was an active warrant out for her arrest.
Santos is accused of "stealing $7,700 from multiple safes inside of a residence in early June 2025," according to police.

She was arrested Sunday and charged with third-degree burglary and third-degree larceny.
Her bond was set at $10,000. She is scheduled to appear in Milford Superior Court on July 21.
