Milford's 2023 Saint Patrick's Day Parade Is Still On For Saturday

Mayor Ben Blake reminded residents that roads will be closed downtown on Saturday.

MILFORD, CT — The Milford Saint Patrick's Day Parade is still on for 1 p.m. Saturday, March 11.

Snow is forecast to end prior to noon on Saturday, and Milford may see a few inches of accumulation. Mayor Ben Blake in a message to residents said parking restrictions begin at noon in downtown Milford.

The parade will begin at the Wasson Field parking lot and follow the traditional parade rout to the North Broad Street gazebo.

Longtime Milford resident Lina Hardiman will serve as the 2023 grand marshal. She was a charter member of the Irish Heritage Society and helped organize the parade for many years with her late husband Marty.

Parking will be available behind the library and at Harborside Middle School and the Milford Senior Center.

The Irish Heritage Society of Milford is hosting a pancake breakfast fundraiser Feb. 25 starting at 8 a.m.

There will also be an afternoon music fundraiser at the club Feb. 26 from 1 to 5 p.m. Admission is $10. Bands include The Emily Mager Band, and The Night Visitors, featuring Colleen Filush from the Highland Rovers. This event is sponsored by Mager and Mager.
