Milford's Nicole Healey Earns Honors

From Southern Connecticut State University: Senior Nicole Healey (Milford, Conn.) of the Southern Connecticut State University women's lacrosse team has been named to the NE10 weekly honor roll for her play in the Owls' two games last week.

Healey registered her 200th career point in Friday's win at Southern New Hampshire, and finished the week with eight points (six goals, two assists) and 14 draw controls. She tallied six points in the win over the Penmen and also posted a career-high 11 draw controls, also the second-highest single-game total in SCSU history. Healey had a goal and an assist against LeMoyne earlier in the week, along with three draw controls. The Owls (4-10) are back in action on Saturday for a home game against Merrimack.
