Monroe Contractor Failed to Deliver $80,000 Worth of Work For Milford Family, Police Say
The Monroe man never completed the work he was paid to do, police alleged.

Milford police say Michael DiBiagio Jr., of Knorr Road in Monroe, is accused of failing to deliver on more than $80,000 worth of work he promised a city resident.
Police said on May 14 they received a larceny complaint involving home improvement work being done at 687 East Broadway.
Investigation revealed that the homeowner had hired DiBiagio through his company, A-Tec Home Energy Solutions, to perform construction work at the home, police said.

The victim filed a complaint stating that the agreed upon work was never completed nor did it represent the amount of funds paid to DiBiagio in the amount of $80,972 resulting in his arrest, police said.
DiBiagio was charged with first-degree larceny, unregistered home improvement, and failure to refund the amount paid. He was released after posting $100,000 bond and is due to appear in Superior Court, Milford on September 16.
