More Than Two Pounds Of Fentanyl Seized In Milford: PD
Detectives launched an investigation after an overdose death at an apartment, police said.

MILFORD, CT — A Milford man was charged after an overdose death at his apartment, according to police.
Police and firefighters went to Schooner Lane, Oct. 11 after getting a call about a medical emergency. A 37-year-old Farmington woman was found dead.
David Vasquez, 35, attempted to administer aid to the woman, but was unsuccessful and waited to call 911 for help, police said. Police searched his apartment and found one ounce of methamphetamine and more than one ounce of fentanyl.

They also searched two storage units in Milford and found more than 1.5 pounds of methamphetamine and more than 2 pounds of fentanyl, including pills, as well as a semiautomatic handgun, according to police.
Vasquez was charged with cruelty to persons and was released on a $75,000 bond. Additional charges are pending, police said.
