Obituary: Nancy E. Hall, 73, of Milford

Nancy Ellen Hall, age 73, of Milford, entered peaceful rest on December 12, 2024 surrounded by her loved ones.

She was born on April 14, 1951 in Manchester, CT and was the daughter of the late James Bond Hall, Sr, and Catherine Barrett Hall. Nancy was a recreation therapist for Fairfield Hills in Newtown and the former DuBois Center in Stamford for over 30 years before her retirement. She was an amazing athlete, a talented artist and avid reader. She was a passionate swimmer.

Nancy is survived by her devoted companion, Susan Barrieau of Milford, Her brother, James B. Hall, Jr. of Lyme, CT, her sisters, Patricia Hall of Flagstaff, AZ and Laureen Hudson of Hudson, NC and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her wife, Katherine A. Kapler.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Woodmont United Church of Christ, 1000 New Haven Avenue, Milford. Interment will be private. Arrangements have been entrusted with the GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
