National Retailer To Open Store At Milford Mall

MILFORD, CT — JD Sports, an athletic footwear and clothing retailer, is coming to the Connecticut Post Mall this spring.

The new store will be at the mall's upper level next to American Eagle.

The 7,979-square-foot location will feature brands like Nike, Jordan, adidas, and New Balance as well as "Only at JD" exclusive launches.

“Welcoming a global powerhouse like JD Sports to Connecticut Post Mall underscores Centennial’s commitment to evolving the shopping experience for the Milford community,” Ken Sterba, general manager of Connecticut Post Mall, said in a statement. “JD Sports is more than a retailer; it’s a cultural destination. We are excited to provide our shoppers with direct access to the most sought-after trends in streetwear and athletic fashion.”

The store is expected to open in May 2026.

JD Sports currently has locations in Danbury, West Hartford, and Norwalk.

The retailer has more than 3,400 stores in 32 countries, according to its website.
