New Shops, Summer Fun Among Changes At Milford Mall

MILFORD, CT — Two new stores, a summer kids attraction, and a new restaurant are some of the changes at Connecticut Post Mall.

A streetwear store has opened on the mall's second floor. Vault by the Spot sells sneakers, hats, clothing, and more, according to its Instagram page.

Previously, the store was located at the Danbury Fair Mall and in Holyoke Mall in Massachusetts, The Connecticut Scoop reported.

Sanas Beauty Esthetics is also open on the mall's second level next door to Vault by the Spot. The shop offers eyelash extensions, threading, henna, waxing, facials, and body treatments, according to its Instagram page.

Later this year, Urban Planet will be relocating to the mall's second floor. The store has been temporarily in the former Ulta Beauty space since last year, The Connecticut Scoop reported.

Funbox has returned to the mall's parking lot for the summer, offering "25,000 square ft. of inflatable fun" which includes 10 play zones like Tumble Temple, Marshmallow Mountain, and Gumball's Gallop.

This is the third summer Funbox will be at Connecticut Post Mall. The family-friendly attraction will be open until Labor Day.

Noches de Colombia, a restaurant chain that operates over 20 locations in New York and New Jersey along with a Connecticut location in Stamford, will also open later this year.

The restaurant will take over the former 8 Thousand Pizza spot. Items on the menu will include Bandeja Paisa, arepas, empanadas, and a variety of grilled meats, seafood, and vegetarian options.

Other recent restaurant openings at the mall include Casa Cuba, Pho Fusion, and Sunrise Cafe.
