New Urgent Care Medical Clinic Approved In Milford

The Planning and Zoning Board approved the application at a recent meeting.

MILFORD, CT — The Planning and Zoning Board approved the creation of a 3,500-square-feet urgent care office at Milford Marketplace, 1646 Boston Post Road.

The applicant is Bhairavi Vaidya. The hours of operation are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. with 5 employees seeing 25-35 patients per day, according to city records.

The application is a special exception because professional offices are not a recognized use in the zone and are not listed as a prohibited use.

The new medical office will provide the following services:

  • Preventative services such as vaccines and checkups
  • Blood/urine samples are collected and shipped to a different location for testing
  • They do not offer overnight stay or invasive procedures.
