New York Man Accused of Illegally Purchasing a TV, Tries to Outrun Milford Cops
Milford police say the suspect was in possession of counterfeit credit cards and is being held on $250,000 bond.

Milford police say Jeffrey Jackson, 52, of Albany Avenue in Brooklyn, New York, attempted to fraudulently purchase a television from Sears Monday night, and was apprehended after running through a nearby commercial parking lot.
Police said they received a complaint from Sears staff regarding a fraudulent credit card being used to purchase a television.
The suspects fled the area in a vehicle and Jackson was apprehended by police after a store employee saw him running through a neighboring commercial parking lot on Route 1.

During his arrest, Jackson was found in possession of two counterfeit credit cards, police said.
Police are continuing their investigation regarding the identity of the other suspect, who was involved in the incident.

Jackson was charged with credit card theft, three counts of third-degree forgery, interfering with police, receiving goods via illegal use of a credit card, illegal use of a credit card, and fifth-degree larceny. He was held in lieu of $250,000 bond.
