He proudly worked as an EMT for AMR. He loved dancing, golfing, baseball, the Patriots, and country music; his favorite song being, “Chicken Fried” by the Zac Brown Band. Jennifer fondly nicknamed him Sparkey, for his energetic and fun-loving personality. James was the life of the party and loved by everyone he encountered.
He ended his phone conversations with saying “smooches, byeeeee.” Besides his wife, Jennifer, and his parents, James and Mary Beth, James leaves behind his siblings, John and Gordon Stewart; paternal grandmother, Catherine Stewart; father-in-law and mother-in-law, Julie and Bill Smillie; sister-in-law, Laura Smillie; brother-in-law, Craig Hennerberry; his dogs, Brady and Dory; as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
