Obituary: Amelia Barnes, age 85

Amelia J. Barnes, age 85, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Charles Barnes Sr., died on Tuesday, July 22nd 2025. Amelia was born in Pound Ridge, New York on November 19, 1939 to the late Harry Raymond Sr. and Lillian Ready Raymond. In addition to her husband, Amelia is predeceased by her son, Charles Barnes Jr., and brothers Harry Arthur Raymond Jr., William Raymond and Richard Raymond. Amelia is survived by her sister, Sharee Stilwell, her husband Jeff and nephew JJ of North Carolina and her stepson, Gregory J. Nowlin, his wife Rosemarie and their children and grandchildren.
