Barbara E. Harrington, 80, of Milford, beloved wife of Robert J. Harrington, passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by loved ones on February 1, 2024. Born on April 8, 1943, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Bessie (Gergley) Weaver.

Barbara and Robert were married in 1964 at Saint Gabriel’s Church, a marriage that remained strong for 60 years. They built a home and a life in Milford, CT.

Barbara had the biggest heart and the most beautiful smile. She was a private and quiet person, but also witty and fun. She was fearless and independent, yet sensitive and incredibly compassionate. She loved music and dancing with her kids around the jukebox in the living room. Christmas was her passion; she loved to bring joy to everyone during this special time of year. She enjoyed frequent walks though Woodmont with friends and family. Her life was filled with playing with her grandchildren, watching movies, and perfecting her arts & crafts. She was sweet and yet strong-willed, traits that defined her.
