MILFORD, CT — Dina Ellen Booth Shino, 86, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Joseph Robert Shino passed away on March 31, 2024. Born on January 21, 1938 in Olyphant, Pennsylvania, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Lunell Booth.

Dina spent over 35 years as a dedicated manager for Bank of America while raising her children and caring for her husband Joe. She enjoyed playing slots at the casino, playing card games, her weekly movie days, going to dinner and the theater, as well as exploring and traveling with her husband, family and many friends. Dina was incredibly personable and could talk with anyone. She was intelligent, open-minded and eloquent. Dina was a natural-born caregiver. She found great joy in spending time and caring for her friends and family, neighbors and especially her beloved late granddaughter Kaycie.

Dina is survived by her children, Karen Craw, Debra Begley and Joseph Shino Jr. (Jay), her sons-in-law Tom Craw and Bernard Begley, her daughter-in-law Cathy Shino, her siblings Ellis Booth, Noel Booth, Kenny Booth, Alvin Booth, Margaret Murphy and Cheryl Solimine, and her beloved grandchildren Taylor and Bryan Begley. She is predeceased by her husband Joseph Robert Shino, her granddaughter Kaycie Begley, and her brother Joseph Booth.

Friends and family are invited to visit on Friday, April 12, 2024 from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 12, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Saint Agnes Church, 400 Merwin Ave., Milford, CT. Interment will follow at Saint Mary Cemetery in Milford. Memorial contributions in her memory may be made to Make-A-Wish or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
