Obituary: Gil E. Suchezky, age 71

Gil Edward Suchezky, age 71, of Milford, beloved husband of Bridget Improta Suchezky for 50 years, died on Wednesday, September 30, 2026 after a long battle with cancer. Gil was born in Bridgeport on November 28, 1954 to the late Edward and Irene Gallant Suchezky. Gil was an electrician by trade who enjoyed fishing, gardening and among other things repairing and working on motors. He loved to converse and share his many opinions and stories. He will be dearly missed by his family and many friends.
Survivors, in addition to his loving wife Bridget, include his devoted daughters; Jennifer Frimpter and April Suchezky both of Milford, cherished granddaughter, Madison Frimpter, Siblings, Denise Booth (Wayne) of Milford, Mark (Angie) Suchezky of Michigan and Lori (Frank) O’Brien of Panama, sister-in-law, Roseann Piacentini of Maryland and brothers-in-law, Mark Improta of Milford. Gil is predeceased by his sister, Diane and brother-in- law Michael Stanio .
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Friends and family may call on Tuesday, October 6th from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in THE GREGORY DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. A service will be held in the funeral home at 5:30 p.m. Interment will be private.
