
Helena Krol Obituary
Helena Krol of East Haven (formerly of Milford), passed away at her home surroundedin the love of her family on Thursday, August 28, 2025. She was born February 28,1937 in Zrecin, Poland to the late Jo’zef and Antonina Kurek. Helena was the lovingwife of the late Julian Krol.
Helena treasured moments with her family which were the center of her life. She wasthe queen of the family. She enjoyed cooking for them, which she was amazing at andleaving her house without an overstuffed stomach was nearly impossible. She was akind woman that always liked to laugh, it was great to hear. Although she was not tall, itdid not affect her toughness, this was one lady you did not want to mess with! A truetestament to this was when her and her husband Julian moved from Poland to Americato provide a safer and better life for their family. Speaking and reading little English atthe time and not knowing what may lie ahead took tremendous courage. She found agood job working in production at the Bic corporation where she retired. She was also alady of faith, with religion being a very big part of her life praying the rosary daily,attending mass at Saint Ann Church and online regularly. One of the things she reallycherished was her time spent at the Casino; she went a lot! We are all better fromknowing her and having her in our lives! She created a beautiful family which all have apiece of her in their heart. Her love and memories will live on forever!
Helena will be sadly missed by her children: John Krol, Jadwiga Domeracki, GeorgeKrol (Linda) Susan Reed (Scott). She was a loving grandmother to Taylor, Leia, Eric,Timothy, Jessica, Nina and Natalie as well as great grandchildren Baron, Brody, Bella,Brynley, Linda Rose and William, and great-great grandson, Hudson.
Helena was predeceased by her parents and loving husband Julian.
Visitation will be Tuesday, September 2, 2025 from 10:00am – 11:00am at the DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 Bridgeport Avenue Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated following at St. Ann Church, Milford at 11:30am. Burial will be in Kings Highway Cemetery.
