Maria worked as a lab technician at Barnes Engineering, EDO Corporation, and BF Goodrich for 25 years. Maria was a very hard worker beginning at the age of 14 until her retirement at 62. Her work ethic was so strong that she traveled to work 8 months pregnant with her son Richard while she had the flu.

Maria loved her dog,Suki, and the City of Milford.
Most importantly, Maria had a strong personality and you would know if she was disappointed just by the look on her face. She was deeply caring, very responsible, and could make you laugh. She adored her grandchildren and raised both when they were babies. She will be missed.
Maria is survived by her daughter Cynthia Fiorito; her son-in law, Jason Fiorito; her son, Richard Delcid; and her grandchildren Mia Fiorito and Louie Fiorito.
All services are private and at the convenience of Maria’s family. The Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home is honored to be assisting the Gerald family at their time of grief. You are invited to share a favorite memory or leave an online condolence by clicking on the Tribute Wall.
