Obituary: Shirley J. Silva, 85

Shirley J. Silva, age 85, of Milford, beloved wife of the late Jack Silva, died on Wednesday, March 26, 2025. Shirley was born in Pittsburgh, PA on December 3, 1939 to the late Harry and Annabelle Elkin Townsend Borrelli. Shirley was a factory worker at Schick for many years and previously worked as a lunch aid in the Milford school system. She retired from Carriage Green where she worked as a receptionist and was a talented gardener and a Steelers fan.

Survivors include her children: William Sheehan and his wife Helen and Kimberly Gresko and her husband Michael both of Milford, grandchildren, Billy and Patrick Sheehan and Nicole Gresko, brother, Francis Patrick Borrelli and his wife Geraldine of PA and several nieces and nephews. Shirley is predeceased by her brother William James Townsend.

Friends and family may call on Monday, March 31st from 4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. in THE GREGORY F. DOYLE FUNERAL HOME, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. A Funeral service will be held in the funeral home on Tuesday April 1st at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in Saint Mary’s Cemetery, Milford.
