“The community is what sets apart our gym from the others,” Jason Leydon, Owner and Head Coach at CrossFit Milford said in a statement. “Our members always come together to help CrossFit Milford be successful. Without the community there is no true CrossFit Milford.”

CrossFit Millford community members will also be at the event raising money for Barbells for Boobs, a non-profit organization dedicated to the early detection of breast cancer.

“Barbells for Boobs combines the two parts of my life and allows me to share my story while also helping others,” Megan Adams, a survivor and member at CrossFit Milford said in a statement. “The sense of community that has formed amazes me. We may never meet those we are helping but everyone deserves the right to know if they have breast cancer.”

A fundraiser for Barbells for Boobs will be held at CrossFit Milford on Nov. 1.

Admission for spectators will be free at the event.
