Patricia A. Sowka of Milford, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 16, 2026 with her beloved wife, Charlotte, by her side at Maplewood at Orange. Affectionately known as Pat, she was born in Brooklyn, New York on April 5, 1948 to the late William and Helen Sowka.
After receiving her degree from the University of New Haven, Pat went on to enjoy a very successful career at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford as a Subcontract Administrator. Pat loved to travel. She enjoyed visiting the National Parks and the Balloon Festival in New Mexico.
Pat will be sadly missed by her wife, Charlotte A. Platt of Milford; and her nephews: William A. Sowka of Massachusetts and John R. Sowka of Hartford. In addition to her parents, Pat was predeceased by her brother, William A. Sowka, Jr.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 from 11:00am – 12:00pm at the Gregory F. Doyle Funeral Home, 291 Bridgeport Avenue, Milford. Burial will follow in Kings Highway Cemetery, Milford.
