Paul “Jim” Kiley, Jr., 85, of Milford, beloved husband of the late Gloria (Caserta) Kiley, passed away on December 31, 2024. Born on March 6, 1939 in Bridgeport, CT, he was the son of the late Paul J. and Ada (Wooster) Kiley, Sr.
Jim proudly served his country in the United States Air Force. Following his honorable discharge, Jim went on to become a dedicated provider for his family whose strong work ethic defined his career with Milford Transit. His commitment to safety earned him numerous awards, and his hard work allowed his wife to stay home and care for their children, a testament to his deep love for family.
A man of few words, Jim expressed his love through actions, always prioritizing the well-being of his family. His devotion to God was unwavering; he cherished holy days and offered prayers before every meal, instilling a sense of gratitude and faith in those around him.

Jim was an avid sports fan, proudly cheering for the Boston Red Sox and the New England Patriots. He found great joy in spending time with his great-grandchildren, taking them to the park and creating lasting memories. A regular at Dunkin and Bert's Deli, he enjoyed the simple pleasures of life, including watching his favorite TV show, Cops, which inspired his great-grandson to pursue a career in law enforcement.
In his free time, Jim loved watching the local deer, doing word searches, and visiting the casino, where he especially enjoyed playing the slots. His zest for life and appreciation for nature brought joy to all who knew him.

Jim is survived by his children, Gloria Ann Fiore, Donna Marie (Mark) Antignani, P. James Kiley III, and Christopher (Erica) Kiley; his grandchildren, Kristal, Stephen (Vicky), and Brian Cupole, Michael (Christina), Anthony, and Eric Antignani, Ashley Marie, and Kevin Kiley, and Billy Zawadski; his great grandchildren, Jacub, Leyah, Jaxon, Justin, Natalie, Nathan, Layla, and Rowan; his sister, Peggy Wesche, and his favorite German Sheppard playmate, Edieann. In addition to his late wife, Jim was predeceased by his sister, June Flick.
The family would like to express their gratitude to Dr. Mike, his staff, and the staff at Smilow Cancer Hospital.
Friends and family may call from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. on Monday, January 6, 2025 at the CODY-WHITE FUNERAL HOME, 107 BROAD ST., MILFORD, CT. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 6, 2025 at 12 noon at Saint Mary Church (Precious Blood Parish) 70 Gulf St., Milford, CT (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Saint Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 Saint Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or at stjude.org.
