Person Found Dead In Burning Car In Milford: Report
A person was found dead in a car fire in the woods near the Connecticut Audubon Society on Saturday night.

MILFORD, CT — Police said a person was found dead in a burning car near the Connecticut Audubon Society building, according to WTNH News-8.
The Milford Emergency Operation Center received a report from a caller stating that there were visible flames coming from the area of Smiths Point on Saturday at 10:20 p.m.
The Milford Fire Department responded and found a fully involved car fire in the woods about 75 feet away from the Connecticut Audubon Society Building.

The fire was extinguished and did not spread into the building, fire officials said.
One person was found dead in the vehicle, WTNH News-8 reported. The person’s name and cause of death have not yet been released.
