Physician's Assistant from Milford Fined by the State
The fine was $3,500, according to a report.

Physician’s Assistant Parimal Patel, of Milford, was fined $3,500 by the State Medical Examining Board for writing controlled substance prescriptions for his adult son, reports the Connecticut Health Investigative Team’s Kate Farrish.
Patel, who worked at an urgent care office, was not allowed to prescribe drugs to himself or his family members unless there was a medical emergency, according to the report.
Additionally, Patel’s certificate to prescribe controlled substances also lapsed, Farrish reports.
