Milford Brewery Approved To Move Forward With Plans
The city's Planning and Zoning Board have approved the Tribus Beer Company to move forward with their plans for Milford's first brewery.

MILFORD, CT -The city's Planning and Zoning Board have approved the Tribus Beer Company to move forward with their plans for Milford's first brewery., the Connecticut Post reported. The board voted to support a special exception that would allow for the launch of the city’s first job-creating craft brewery.
The owners of the Tribus Beer Company plan to launch its brewery in a 15,040 square-foot industrial warehouse at 100 Raton Drive, according to the Connecticut Post. The new facility is set to feature both a patio and taproom.
The decision comes on the heels of a Milford resident circulating a petition in support of the brewery's approval that garnered over 500 signatures, the Connecticut Post reported.

According to the company's Facebook page, "Tribus Beer Co. will be a functioning brewpub with world-class ales and lagers! Our products are designed and crafted by certified International Brewers. Our taproom boasts brand new stainless steel tanks, hand-finished furniture, a 25+ seated bar top, TVs, and games. We have a 1,000 sq. ft beer garden with seating and cornhole which can be enjoyed in the warmer weather. Local food trucks will be available on-site for any hungry customers. With only a 3-5 minute drive off I-95, Tribus Beer Co. will be super accessible for locals and tourists. Coming to Milford, CT soon! Stay tuned!"
