Police Charge Man with Sexual Assault of a Juvenile

Police have charged a Milford man with sexually assaulting a juvenile.

Clarence Booth, 67, of 28 Phelan Park Drive, allegedly sexually assaulted the youngster -- with whom he was acquainted -- five times from 2008 to 2010, according to police.

Booth was arrested Monday on a warant stemming from a complaint filed in December by the juvenile, police said.

Booth was charged with five counts of first-degree sexual assault, five counts of third-degree sexual assault, and five counts of risk of injury to a minor, according to police.

He was being held in lieu of $250,000 bond, police said.
