Police Department Update

Reminder of which roads are closed post Irene.

This in from the Milford Police Department:

During the time period Hurricane Irene impacted our community, the police department responded to 275 calls for police assistance, with a majority of those calls being storm related.

The Milford Police Department will continue to assess damages and roadway accessibility restrictions caused by Hurricane Irene throughout the city. Residents are reminded to avoid these areas for their safety due to low lying energized power lines, damaged trees, debris and other hazards.

Below is an updated listing of roadways that have limited accessibility due to storm damage. Citizens should be cautious and avoid these areas until the hazardous conditions are corrected. Updates will also be listed on the city website at www.ci.milford.ct.us for viewing.
