Pop's Restaurant Receives Approval to Expand

In a sign that business is booming the popular eatery is adding on to its new site, which just opened in 2013.

Business has never been better at Pop’s Restaurant, and that is why the owners are planning an expansion project.

The Planning and Zoning Board voted Tuesday night to approve a 1,176-square-feet expansion that will add an additional 36 news seats to the 134 Old Gate Lane restaurant along with 23 additional parking spaces, reports the Milford Mirror.

The new restaurant, which relocated from New Haven Avenue, was constructed in 2013 and originally included 4,000-square-feet and 103 seats and 54 parking spaces.

The owners purchased an adjacent parcel for $300,000 to make way for the expansion project.
