Popular Milford Bakery Opens At New Location

MILFORD, CT — One of the most popular bakery's not only in the region but the entire state reopened at its new home for the first time on Tuesday. Scratch Baking has moved to its new home at 84 Broad Street.

"(Today) is the day! Finally we are opening the new location!!!!! Doors open at 6:30am at 84 Broad Street. New hours will be Mon-Fri 6:30am-6pm and Sat-Sun 7am-3pm. Can’t wait to see you all and fill up these empty chairs!"

For the few of you who don't know about Scratch Baking it was founded in 2010, and "Scratch Baking specializes in a fully array of artisanal breads, scones, croissants, brownies, pies, sweets and cakes using organic and locally-grown ingredients as much as possible. In 2015, Scratch Baking was named the best bakery in the entire state by FlipKeys. Excited customers are already lining up. Karen Chartoff said on social media, "Hooray!! So thrilled for you! Save my table, see you soon!"
