Popular Milford Restaurant Closes its Doors After 70 Years
The family posted a statement thanking their staff and patrons for all of their support over the past seven decades. BREAKING

MILFORD, CT — Aldario’s Restaurant and Banquet Facilities announced on their Facebook page Wednesday that after 70 years in business the popular restaurant is closing its doors.
Once word surfaced, the family's post was shared hundreds of times on social media and more than 80 comments were left from loyal customers.
"For over 70 years, Aldario’s Restaurant and Banquet Facilities has proudly served the Milford community and surrounding towns near and far in providing quality meals both in our Grill Room and Banquet Room facilities. We know you had many choices to choose from, but we are pleased and forever grateful that Aldario’s was your #1 choice. Through the years, we have developed many friendships and loyal customers," the restaurant posted on its Facebook page.

"On behalf of my wife, Rosemary, my children Sante III and Ariana, and the entire Faustini Family, I take the privilege of thanking you, our loyal customers, for your continued support and patronage to our restaurant. Patrons like you were the foundation of our success, and it goes without saying how much we appreciate your loyalty.
"To our staff, a HUGE THANK YOU for being a part of the Aldario’s Family Restaurant. Because of your hard work and dedication, it made our life a little bit easier every day knowing you were there to do your part. All of you will be sorely missed!!

Again, THANK YOU ALL for being a part of Aldario’s Restaurant. I wish you all the best. It is with a heavy heart that I announce that the time has come to close our doors and for me to devote more time to my family and to pursue other endeavors that are awaiting. On their Facebook page it lists hours as now "permanently closed." The restaurant is located at 240 Naugatuck Avenue.
On Facebook, Margarita Arduini wrote, "I don't know where to begin.. I couldn't be more proud to call you mi familia'. It has been an amazing family business over the years...Your dad and uncle must be so proud!
Jim Franco wrote, "I won't know where to go on Tuesday nights. I was off, today, and I didn't know where to go lunch. I felt like we were treated like family every time that we came in. Thank you for all those years. Enjoy whatever you decide to do next."
