Robert ‘Bob’ Larsson, 72, of Milford, passed away on October 14, 2024

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Robert ‘Bob’ Larsson of Milford, CT, who peacefully left us on October 14, 2024. Bob was known for his unwavering love for his family, immense kindness, and remarkable strength, especially during his courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Peekskill, NY, on June 3, 1952, to the late Robert and Barbara Larsson.

Bob is survived by his loving wife, Peggy Powell Larsson, his treasured daughter, Sarah (Michael Crowley), and his cherished grandson, James Crowley. He will be deeply missed by his brothers, James and Joseph Larsson, as well as his extended family, friends, and neighbors. He was predeceased by his siblings, William and Barbara-Ann.

Bob retired from Metro-North Railroad after 34 years of dedicated service. He lived life with passion, embracing his love of music and Volkswagens, always sharing joy through both. Bob’s memory will forever remain in our hearts.

Family and friends are invited to gather on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad St., Milford. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 1:00 p.m. that day at Saint Mary Church, 70 Gulf St., Milford. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of your choice in his honor.
