Above all, Bob was a family man. He shared a full life with his beloved wife, Darlene. They made great memories together by taking cruises and traveling to Las Vegas and Atlantic City. They also visited many baseball stadiums, thanks to his brother Paul.
His son, Robert “Bobby” Lessard, along with his wife Sarah, blessed Bob with two cherished granddaughters, Sophie and Claire. When the granddaughters came to visit, he would shower them with life savers and light-hearted teasing, and their favorite game was to pry a golf ball out of his hand.

He was a beloved uncle to many nieces and nephews and was deeply cherished by his extended family and friends. Bob was predeceased by his brother, Michael Lessard.
Bob developed a lifelong passion for sports, especially golf and baseball. He played baseball for Sacred Heart University, and his love for the game continued throughout his life. Bob was a proud member of the Knights of Columbus Santa Maria Council #1443, a past Grand Knight, a former member of Tinto Council #47, and member of St. Joseph’s Men’s Society. Bob was also an active volunteer for the Special Olympics. He was also a member of Precious Blood’s pastoral council and one of his biggest passions was overseeing the Giving Tree at Christmas. Bob dedicated countless hours to service, leadership, and camaraderie.
