Robert G. Golembeski, 74 of Milford, passed away peacefully on July 1, 2025 after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Robert (Bob) was born on February 25, 1951 in Milford, CT to the late Walter and Henrietta Golembeski. Bob was the beloved husband of Maureen Golembeski.
Bob graduated from Notre Dame West Haven High School and completed his undergraduate degree at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. He continued his education by completing his MBA at the University of Bridgeport. Bob worked for 45 years at Sikorsky as an engineer and was recognized by the company for his many accomplishments. In his retirement, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Bob enjoyed golfing, bowling, and hoping the Mets would win some games.
Bob is survived by his beloved wife Maureen Golembeski and their daughter Sarah Golembeski. He is also survived by his brother Thomas Golembeski and his wife Kathy Golembeski, his sister Barbara Golembeski, and many nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother brother Walter Golembeski III.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, July 14, 2025, at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mary Church, 70 Gulf St, Milford CT 06460 (MEET DIRECTLY AT CHURCH). Interment will follow at Saint Mary Cemetery, Milford CT.
