Robert Kleffmann, 90, Passed away on November 19, 2024
A proud Marino Corp. Veteran, Robert will be remembered for his love of sailing and devotion to his wife Dolores.

Robert “Bob” Kleffmann, 90 of Orange CT, passed away peacefully on November 19, 2024. Bob was born on July 13, 1934, in the Bronx, NY, to the late August and Anne Kleffmann. He was the beloved husband of Dolores Heizman Kleffmann.
Bob was a beloved member of the Milford Yacht Club for over 50 years, where he spent countless hours on the water as an avid sailor. His passion for fine food led him to join the Gourmet Club of Orange, where for over 40 years, he relished monthly gatherings to prepare and savor gourmet meals alongside cherished friends. Bob was a past Commodore of the Windjammers Sail Club.
Bob's life took a romantic turn when he met his wife at a church dance in New York City. They married a few years later and embarked on a beautiful journey together. Seeking a quieter lifestyle, the couple moved to Orange, Connecticut, but never lost their love for the vibrant energy of New York, making frequent visits to the city they once called home.
In addition to Bob’s beloved wife, Dolores, he is also survived by his sister-in-law Joyce Marzano and her husband Frank, and her brother-in-law Charles Heizman and his wife Lee. As well as many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and beloved family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to gather on Monday, November 25, 2024, for a visitation from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Holy Infant Church (450 Racebrook Rd, Orange, CT 06477) with a Mass of Christian Burial to begin at 12 p.m. Please meet directly at church.

A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, November 26, 2024, at Kensico Cemetery (273 Lakeview Ave, Valhalla, NY 10595). Please meet directly at cemetery.
