Rollerblading Stunt Almost Ends Tragically In Milford

A rollerblader was holding onto a moving car that was filming the stunt, when he lost control.

In a what were they thinking moment, a rollerblader was injured when he was holding onto a moving car and ended up losing control and falling, a fire official said Sunday.

Fire Capt. Gregory Carman said at 7:13 p.m. Saturday the department received a call for an injured person from falling while rollerblading.

“The person stated that they were holding onto a moving car when they lost control and fell,” Carman said.

The patient had minor injuries, but was brought to Bridgeport Hospital for evaluation, Carman said. The accident happened near the intersection of Pumpkin Delight Road and Pomona Drive.

Neighbors said they saw the driver of the car filming the whole stunt that almost ended tragically.
